Rugby: Landsdowne beat Galwegians
Lansdowne 9 v Galwegians 7
Lansdowne survived a dramatic finish to end Galwegians-seven- game unbeaten run.
They owe their victory to out-half David Quigley who kicked three penalty goals allied to a magnificent defensive effort which saw them withstand everything Galwegians could throw at them until and injury time Gavin Duffy try, which was converted by Eric Elward.
