Six Nations: D-day for Ireland v England
The Irish Rugby Union will decide on Wednesday whether Ireland's Six Nations clash with England on March 24 can go ahead as scheduled.
IRFU officials met with officials of the Department of Agriculture in Dublin at which the IRFU sought guidance on the playing of international fixtures in view of the foot-and-mouth-disease crisis.
The IRFU issued a brief statement in which they said: "The Department of Agriculture will give its formal advice and recommendations to the Union tomorrow, when a further statement will be issued."
