The Rugby Football Union today quashed rumours that tomorrow's Six Nations Championship clash between England and Scotland at Twickenham could be postponed.

The Six Nations Committee meets in London later today, with fixture contingency plans on their agenda following the foot and mouth outbreak.

Ireland's scheduled clash with Wales at the Millenium Stadium was called off on Tuesday as the epidemic took hold.
