Vietnam hit by earthquake

An earthquake has rocked northern Vietnam.

The quake, measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale, destroyed houses and injured dozens of people in the province of Lai Chau.

People were injured scrambling from their homes. Aftershocks also hit the region, reports the Vietnam News Agency.
