Six Nations: Italy don't feel Brad about odds
Italy coach Brad Johnstone is not worried that the bookmakers are banking on an overwhelming England victory in the Six Nations clash at Twickenham tomorrow.
In 1978, Twickenham was a happy hunting ground for the former All Black prop, who recalls scoring in front of a packed house.
But this time, after a weak defensive showing against Ireland in the Six Nations opener that ended 22-41, he is not sending his troops out with hopes of victory.
He said: "I am reinforcing the defence. Obviously we did not have a strong enough defensive line against Ireland and I have had to do something about it."
Bookmakers are quoting England at 150/1 on to win.
But Johnstone said: "The odds are a great motivation for a team on tour. Any sportsman who is competing in anything can use odds like that as a great motivational tool."
