Rugby: Wyatt joins Wales A squad
Axed Six Nations lock Chris Wyatt will line up for Wales A against their Scottish counterparts in Edinburgh on Friday night.
Wyatt, omitted from the senior side after a poor performance during Wales’ 44-15 defeat by England nine days ago, partners Bridgend lock Chris Stephens in the second row.
He replaces Craig Quinnell, who will be on the Wales bench at Murrayfield, as one of three changes following a 19-19 draw with England A last time out.
Neath wing Shane Williams, in the international wilderness since last season’s Six Nations, is called up instead of Cardiff’s Nick Walne.
The third switch comes at centre, where Adrian Durston ousts Saracens prospect Tom Shanklin.
Wales A: R Williams (Cardiff); S Williams (Neath), J Robinson (Cardiff), A Durston (Bridgend), C Morgan (Cardiff); C Warlow (Bridgend), H Harries (Bridgend, captain); I Thomas (Ebbw Vale), J Humphreys (Cardiff), B Evans (Swansea), C Stephens (Bridgend), C Wyatt (Llanelli), N Budgett (Ebbw Vale), G Thomas (Bath), E Lewis (Cardiff).
