Six Nations: O'Driscoll out of Italy match

Leinster centre Brian O'Driscoll has lost his battle against a shoulder injury and will not feature in Ireland's Six Nations opener against Italy in Rome on February 3.

Denis Hickie is also definitely out. He is suffering from a hand injury.
