Victory over Bruff helps UL Bohs advance to Munster Senior Cup final

Bruff 8 - UL Bohemians 22: A late opportunist try from Ogie Scannell, converted by Michael Mullally, finally sealed the deal for UL Bohemians in a tough Bank of Ireland Munster Senior Cup semi-final at Kilballyowen Park, Bruff, this afternoon.

Between Bohemians’ spot in Division 1B of the All Ireland League and Bruff’s in Division 2C there are 24 other clubs, but there was nothing much between the teams on this occasion.

Certainly, the Limerick city outfit deserved their win, but Bruff made a brave fight of it and recovered brilliantly from a 15-3 half-time deficit to push the winners all the way.
