Munster on different path to Ronan O’Gara era, says Peter O'Mahony

Munster captain Peter O’Mahony believes any inside track Ronan O’Gara will give his club Racing 92 ahead of their Champions Cup opening pool clash in Paris in 10 days will not reflect his province’s current set-up under Rassie Erasmus.

O’Gara began his coaching career with the Parisian club in 2012 on retiring as a player after 236 appearances in 15 glorious years at fly-half for his native Munster.

The two clubs clash for the first time since his departure at Stade Yves du Manoir a week on Sunday and while O’Mahony has the utmost respect for his former team-mate, he believes Munster are heading in a different direction to the path they were on when O’Gara called it quits.
