Tipperary’s John Lacey will referee next month’s European Challenge Cup final between Harlequins and Montpellier.

John Lacey to take charge of Challenge Cup final

Lacey will be refereeing his 50th European club match when he takes charge of the May 13 decider at the Grand Stade de Lyon. His assistant referees will be Marius Mitrea of Italy and Limerick native Peter Fitzgibbon.

Meanwhile, Nigel Owens of Wales has been appointed to referee the European Champions Cup final between Racing 92 and Saracens at the same venue the next day.
