Stade Francais pull off shock win

Munster’s European Champions Cup rivals Stade Francais pulled off a shock as they beat Toulouse 18-17 in Paris in the Top14 last night.

Stade Francais pull off shock win

A win for Toulouse would have taken them top but they suffered a surprise defeat. Munster face Stade Francais in Paris next Saturday.

In England, Harlequins held off a great second-half rally from Worcester to move up to third in the Aviva Premiership with a 24-20 victory at a rain-sodden Sixways.

Worcester dominated possession and territory but could not fully capitalise on the sin-binning of both Quins centres, Jamie Roberts and George Lowe. Quins led 24-3 but Worcester responded with tries from Marco Mama and Phil Dowson and a penalty try award which Ryan Mills converted.

Tom Heathcote kicked a first-half penalty, but it wasn’t enough.
