South African Quinn Roux said that he hopes to reach his full potential with Connacht after making his loan deal from Leinster permanent move.

The 24-year-old spent two seasons with Leinster before moving to Connacht on a loan deal which has now been turned into a contract that will keep him at the Sportsground until the summer of 2017.

His signing was one of two locks announced by Connacht yesterday with the highly rated Ultan Dillane from Tralee also signing a two-year deal. Dillane, who has featured at U18 and U19 levels for Ireland, has been in the Connacht academy for the past three years and made his senior debut just before Christmas against Leinster before following it up with appearances against Ulster and Munster and the last weekend against Edinburgh.
