O’Brien and Healy to miss Leinster’s crunch Euro battles

Matt O’Connor has ruled Sean O’Brien and Cian Healy out of Leinster’s final two pool games in the European Champions Cup.

With Ireland beginning their Six Nations campaign against Italy on February 7, and France coming to Dublin a week later, it casts a doubt on how much of an influence the pair will have in the defence of the Championship.

It had been expected that Healy could be available for Leinster’s final two games against Castres and Wasps but O’Connor appeared to dash those hopes yesterday.
