Munster forwards coach Jerry Flannery doesn’t need reminding of the passion Connacht can generate on these occasions having represented the province in the early stages of what turned out to be an honours-ladencareer.

“I had a brilliant two years up in Galway and learned an awful lot,” he acknowledges.
