Muldoon: We must focus and get over the Blues

Connacht captain John Muldoon says any frustration they might have from letting a 14-point lead slip in the final 10 minutes against Cardiff Blues must be channeled into tomorrow night’s clash away to Treviso.

Muldoon said drawing 24-24 against Cardiff felt like a loss because they squandered such a big lead in the closing moments, but he said his men can’t afford to dwell on what might have been.

“We were bitterly disappointed to throw away a 14-point lead. We’ve aspirations to be a top six team and a top six team doesn’t let a team back into a game like that.
