Munster’s only reply in the first-half came from a Tomas Quinlan penalty even though they were called back for a disallowed try by captain Stephen Fitzgerald and blew two clear-cut chances as the home side led 22-3 at the break.

It looked all over when Leinster loose-head Andrew Porter stormed over after a run from the 22 metre line.
