Pat Lam’s men trailed 7-6 behind at the break after scrum-half Ian Porter kicked two penalties either side of an Ashley Johnson try.

Johnson added another try and Wasps had further scores from James Gaskell and Tom Varndell. Eoin McKeown and Danie Poolman touched down for Connacht in the second half, the latter converted by centre Shane O’Leary.
