RABO DIRECT PRO12:

Casey finally finds his calling at the front line

Unless you are talking to Munster hooker Duncan Casey, that is, who in between adjusting to life as his province’s starting hooker in the absence of Mike Sherry and Damien Varley and studying for his degree in law and sociology at the University of Limerick, somehow finds the time to visit Palestine for his holidays and learn Arabic.

Casey, 23, does not conform to any preconceived view of a front-row forward but he is certainly ticking all the boxes as one as far as Munster head coach Rob Penney is concerned having handed the Corkman his senior debut less than 10 weeks ago, and in a Heineken Cup game no less.
