Ireland and Ulster set for Best lift

Hooker Rory Best has given Ireland and Ulster a boost ahead of the province’s Heineken Cup tie against Montpellier at Ravenhill on Friday night.

Best received the all-clear from medics following his recovery from the broken arm sustained in the first half of that traumatic defeat by New Zealand in November and is expected to feature at some stage in Belfast

Best had targeted a return during the final window of European games but the clash against Leicester Tigers at Welford Road on Saturday week was considered the more likely option.
