Injury crisis for troubled Connacht

Connacht have lost another five players to the injury list ahead of this week’s Heineken Cup fixture against Toulouse in France.

It is not good news for Pat Lam, who this week is trying to prepare his squad for Sunday’s round three clash following their dismal showing against Edinburgh.

“We have had quite a long review today to show the opportunities we missed, and had we taken them, we would not have been chasing the game,” said Lam. “However, even then, it was not acceptable. So it is a big week and we will focus on what we can improve on and put on the park against a top team like Toulouse.”
