The Ireland and Munster second-row desperately hopes the tournament continues despite the current impasse between the warring parties, with the top English and French clubs seemingly determined to set new ground rules for European rugby.

“Obviously this would affect us all, I think we’ll know more in a couple of months, it’s a bit of poker going on and we’ll leave it up to those (people) in charge to figure it out. It will be interesting to see how it unfolds.
