Munster’s fringe players will be playing for their contracts when they take on Newport Gwent Dragons tomorrow.

While the game itself is of little consequence, given Munster’s upcoming Heineken Cup semi-final against Clermont Auvergne on April 27, out half Ian Keatley believes the contest will provide players whose contracts haven’t been renewed for next season the chance to shine.

Tomorrow’s match is of little consequence other than a strong desire to chalk up a confidence boosting win within the squad, but Keatley sees a broader picture.
