Leinster eye silver lining as rested players return

Leinster’s, with their cumbersome catalogue of injuries, has been gloomier than most but Joe Schmidt’s side roll into Limerick this evening with a roster boasting greater depth than at any time since well before Christmas and just when the season is approaching its apex.

It is a welcome silver lining after a season shaped by dark clouds and the suspicion must be that Leinster will belatedly benefit from what should be a number of players who now find themselves approaching the campaign’s last weeks with considerably less mileage on the clock.
