Henry suffers more of same
Ulster’s dream of turning Twickenham into a happy place, 11 months after such crushing disappointment in the final against Leinster, fell some way short of fruition as they were dominated by a physical, clinical and highly efficient Saracens side with serious credentials to bring European club rugby’s greatest prize back to English soil for the first time since 2007.
A try in each half, one borne of power the other of pace, and the almost perfect place-kicking of Owen Farrell told only a fraction of the story, however, as Ulster contributed considerably to their own downfall, the match statistics eerily echoing the fate that befell Ireland at Murrayfield in the Six Nations six weeks ago.
