Murphy: Keatley capable of stepping up to the plate
With injured Jonathan Sexton likely to miss the Six Nations clash and Ronan O’Gara already pencilled in as his automatic replacement, Murphy says Keatley would cope with the challenge, although he is down the pecking order behind Paddy Jackson and possibly Ian Madigan.
“I think Keats is (should be) up there, he is a very talented fella,” said Murphy. “He has already played for Ireland a couple of times, he is very experienced. I suppose he showed in the Racing Metro game recently and especially at the weekend how he can run games like that. ROG (O’Gara) is ROG, you can’t say enough about him.
