Schmidt worries about getting little things right

It is four weeks since Joe Schmidt digested the unpalatable taste of a second defeat in six days at the hands of Clermont Auvergne and declared that Leinster required a miracle if they were to qualify for the knockout stages of the Heineken Cup.

His opinion on the enormity of the task ahead hasn’t changed but his tone certainly has.

It was an understandably downcast Kiwi who addressed the media last month in the Aviva Stadium but he was more like his normal positive self yesterday when asked if Leinster could make the improbable a reality.
