Ronan raring to go after enforced break

Niall Ronan will be glad to see an end to 2012. For him it was a year of frustration and pain and he hopes to at least enjoy the last month as he settles back into the normal routine of a professional rugby player.

His rehabilitation from a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament has been a graft and asked to describe the last 10 months he raises his eyes skyward: “Frustrating, to say the least.”

He was hardly back in action, with three games under his belt, when he sustained a groin injury which sidelined him for another six weeks.
