The former powerhouse of domestic rugby sit bottom of the Ulster Bank AIL Division 1A table, having conceded an average of 40 points in humiliating defeats by Young Munster, Lansdowne, Dolphin and Old Belvedere.

Then on Monday afternoon, club chiefs confirmed head coaches Stephen Keogh and Eoin Cahill had left the club with Brian Tuohy and James Hickey in charge on a caretaker basis for the next fortnight.
