The local branch of Enable Ireland (Lavanagh Centre) will receive around €8,000 thanks to a fundraising dinner in conjunction with tonight’s AIL clash between Cork Constitution and Dolphin at Temple Hill.

Con will be holding the now annual Ladies High Tea event, spearheaded by the fundraising committee of Valerie Kiernan, Jan Derham and Dee McCarthy, in the new club complex.

The dinner has been sold out for weeks and has attracted support from many sources, including international second row star Donncha O’Callaghan, who is offering a coaching, meet and greet course to 10 youngsters as a spot prize.
