Lowly Shannon part with coaching team

All-Ireland League giants Shannon last night confirmed that head coach Stephen Keogh and his assistant Eoin Cahill have left their roles “by mutual agreement with the club”.

The Limerick club, one of the most successful in AIL history, have endured a horrific start to the Division 1A season losing their opening four games and conceding an average of 40 points per match.

They are rooted to the bottom of the league with -124 scoring difference. Their most recent defeat was a 45-13 loss at Old Belvedere on Saturday.
