Bradley backs Munster to progress

Vanquished Edinburgh coach Michael Bradley believes Munster are on course to make the knockout stages of the Heineken Cup.

Bradley backs Munster to progress

After suffering a shock loss to Racing Metro on the opening weekend, Rob Penney’s side ran in three ties in the final 10 minutes at Thomond Park yesterday for a 33-0 victory. The win moves them to second in Pool One behind Saracens with the sides set to clash in back-toback fixtures in December. And Bradley believes that Munster will be an improved outfit when those fixtures roll around.

The former Irish international said: “What I like about Munster this year is they have developed a game to put the ball wide and they have been getting more and more confident about it. In six weeks’ time, they will have gotten better again. I think the change in management has helped to give them an extra dimension in attack which is very good. Munster needed to move on, they still can put a lot of pressure on teams up front but they have a balance in their side now and are not afraid to go there.”
