Ulster coach Mark Anscombe believes his charges will kick on from the red-hot early season form they have ground out as they prepare for Friday’s opening Heineken Cup salvo against French side Castres at Ravenhill.

The Kiwi coach is maybe still pinching himself in the fact that last year’s beaten European Cup finalists have an unblemished record so far and sit atop the RaboDirect Pro 12 table with a game in hand.

But the hard-nosed Aucklander had some words of warning for those reading too much into this early season form.
