Nikore opens Connacht’s account

Connacht built up a lead through Nikore and a Tiernan O’Halloran try to lead 13-0 at half time. Zebre winger Samuele Pace hit back soon after but Connacht’s George Naoupu crashed over to increase their lead.

Van Schalkwyk pulled the gap back and an Orquera penalty made it a nervous finish but a late Mike McCarthy try sealed the win.
