Munster’s nomination for a successor to director of coaching Tony McGahan is all set to be sent to Dublin for consideration by the IRFU this week.

With the formal interview process now complete, the smart money is still being laid on Anthony Foley stepping up from his role as forwards coach in a ‘boot room’ shuffle that could see the former iconic captain turn into a head coach within five seasons of handing up his boots.

And whoever takes over the role will have plenty of talent to work with, according to McGahan.
