Methody ensured there was no upset in the Ulster Senior Schools Cup final as they swept aside underdogs Ballyclare High School at Ravenhill yesterday.

The Belfast side were contesting their 60th final in the competition and made it 33 outright wins having shared the title twice.

Playing with the aid of a strong breeze in the first-half the Belfast school scored three tries to capitalise on the early pressure the exerted.
