O’Sullivan ‘waiting for phone to ring’

FORMER Ireland coach Eddie O’Sullivan admits he is “waiting for the phone to ring” in his bid to return to rugby management.

O’Sullivan, whose contract with the USA ended after the World Cup has been linked with a number of posts in recent weeks but he revealed he has not received any offers from any clubs.

O’Sullivan said: “I’ve been linked with any job that’s come up. That’s not a bad thing, I’m happy to be linked with them because at the moment I’m out of work. It’s funny, in rugby there are rarely set interviews where they line people up. For me, I’m waiting here for the phone to ring but I’m not concerned. It’s that time of the year where there’s not going to be jobs available, ” he told Setanta Ireland’s iTalkSport.
