DANNY CARE will be excluded from England’s Six Nations squad after he was arrested on suspicion of drink driving in the early hours of New Year’s Day.

The RFU confirmed Care, the Harlequins scrum-half, will plead guilty when he appears in court on January 16. Care will also be fined £10,000 by his club following two alcohol-related incidents in the space of three weeks.

The 25-year-old was fined by the police for being drunk and disorderly after he was arrested in the early hours of December 10, following Harlequins’ Heineken Cup defeat to Toulouse.
