Heaslip humbled by home support

HAVING never been an avid rugby fan, Jamie Heaslip is astounded by the interest Leinster have generated in recent years.

With close to a sellout crowd expected at the Aviva today, it has really taken the number eight aback — particularly given his confession that he’s not really a fan of the game.

“I never even went to internationals,” he said, “probably a handful of them when I was in school, but I stopped that at about 15. I don’t have a massive interest in rugby off the field.
