The two-time European champion, set to miss tomorrow night’s RaboDirect Pro12 game against Edinburgh due to injury, has spoken of his desire to win back his place in the province’s back row following the disappointment of being relegated to the replacements bench for the opening two games in Pool 1.

Leamy, who turns 30 on Sunday, earned praise for turning that setback into positive performances and the back rower made telling contributions as a substitute in the narrow victories at home to Northampton Saints and then last weekend’s away game at Castres.
