Joubert to officiate World Cup final

IRELAND’S Alain Rolland has been named an assistant for the Rugby World Cup final.

The man at the centre of Welsh captain Sam Warburton’s controversial sending off will man the line alongside Welshman Nigel Owens while South Africa’s Craig Joubert will referee.

England’s Wayne Barnes will officiate the bronze medal match between Wales and Australia, assisted by France’s Roman Poite and Ireland’s George Clancy.
