Warburton: Wilko my hero

WALES’ inspirational captain Sam Warburton has revealed one of the secrets behind his success — England star Jonny Wilkinson.

Warburton, already anointed as the youngest captain in Rugby World Cup history, will lead Wales into tomorrow’s Pool D clash against Fiji (6am Irish time) with the prize of a first quarter-final place since 2003 up for grabs.

No-one really knows where Wales’ World Cup journey could take them after that, although a probable last-eight appointment with Ireland beckons next Saturday, possibly followed by a semi-final against England — then maybe even New Zealand in the October 23 final.
