Kidney recalls Leinster big guns for Wallabies clash

DECLAN KIDNEY has welcomed back his big guns from injury for Ireland’s pivotal World Cup Pool C clash with Australia this Saturday, and also reunited Leinster out-halves Eoin Reddan and Jonny Sexton.

The Ireland coach has made four changes to the team which struggled for long periods in its opening game against the USA last Sunday in New Plymouth, bringing in loosehead prop Cian Healy and European player of the year Sean O’Brien to bolster the pack and introducing Rob Kearney at full-back.

Yet it is his choice of scrum-half that will be seen as the most contentious, relegating Munster’s young number nine Conor Murray after starting him for the first time last week and bringing in Reddan to send him out with Sexton for a tried and tested combination to take on the Tri-Nations champions.
