Feek goes back to his roots

IRELAND scrum coach Greg Feek was set to turn full circle today when the Ireland squad pitches up at New Plymouth Boys’ High School for their final training session before Sunday’s World Cup opener against the USA.

Feek, the former All Black prop who moved to Ireland at the start of last season to join Leinster as scrum consultant, is a native of New Plymouth, which sits on the west coast of New Zealand’s North Island looking out across the Tasman Sea.

It is where he was born and bred, educated in life, academics and, most importantly, rugby.
