No excuses from Gibbes

LEINSTER forwards coach Jonno Gibbes has called on his side to get the basics right for tomorrow’s game against the Newport Gwent Dragons.

The man responsible for Leinster’s teak-tough pack was disappointed with the side’s display in defeat to the Ospreys last week and is refusing to use the players gone to New Zealand as an excuse for declining standards.

“On Friday we didn’t get our first things right, which was our platforms. Our game didn’t function from there,” he said.
