Eight World Cup survivors in Ireland squad

THERE are eight survivors from last year’s Ireland squad for the Junior Rugby World Cup in Italy next month.

Ireland coach Mike Ruddock has named an experienced panel but also includes Dominic Gallagher and Kieran Marmion, neither or whom were involved in the Six Nations.

Ireland open their campaign against England on Friday, June 10 in Stadio Communale di Monigo, Treviso. Scotland and South Africa are their other opponents in Pool C.
