Ayerza blow for Leicester

LEICESTER prop Marcos Ayerza will miss this weekend’s Heineken Cup quarter-final clash against Leinster after being given a two-week suspension by the Rugby Football Union.

The Argentina international was sent off for fighting with Harlequins’ Joe Marler during the Aviva Premiership game between the sides on Saturday, and Marler, who was also sent off, has received an identical punishment.

His absence will also be felt by his club, who have an important Amlin Challenge Cup quarter-final clash against Wasps on Friday night.
