Schmidt still confident of making final four

Schmidt still confident of making final four

Following their one point defeat to Munster on Saturday night, Leinster lie fourth and in contention for the play-offs but fifth place Cardiff Blues, four points adrift, have a game in hand.

Still, Schmidt has every reason to feel confident of making the top four, with home games to come against Ulster and Glasgow Warriors and an away tie to league whipping boys Aironi. The New Zealander conceded it would be difficult to secure a home semi-final but feels confident of making the knockout stages.
