SCOTLAND’S coach Andy Robinson last night accused Ireland of cheating – and of getting away with it – following yesterday’s RBS 6 Nations clash at Murrayfield.

Ireland were left hanging on in the closing moments and an angry Robinson insisted they should have been reduced to 14 men as Scotland threw everything into a late assault.

Although Ireland will make a more measured review of the reasons for the concession of 13 penalties, and most likely find fault of their own with Welsh referee Nigel Owens, it was Robinson who came out with all guns blazing as he accused Owens of being too lenient.
