Recovering Heaslip still no Racing cert

JAMIE HEASLIP, pictured, is a doubt for Leinster’s Heineken Cup game against Racing Metro in Paris tomorrow night. Forwards coach Jono Gibbes admitted last night Heaslip’s chances of playing had dropped from 50-50 to 40-60 after the number eight failed to train fully due to an ongoing ankle injury.

The news is better on Gordon D’Arcy (calf strain). The centre trained well, according to Gibbes: “There are some positives there for him but we will tidy all that (injuries) up Thursday.”

Sean O’Brien replaced Heaslip in last week’s win over Saracens and was man of the match while Fergus McFadden made a seamless transfer from wing to centre in place of D’Arcy.
