Fitness boost for quintet

MUNSTER’S walking wounded are all expected to be fit for Sunday’s must-win Heineken Cup tie in Toulon.

Tony Buckley (virus), Sam Tuitupou (virus), Doug Howlett (calf) all sat out last Saturday’s narrow Magners League victory over Glasgow Warriors at Musgrave Park, Cork, while David Wallace and John Hayes picked up knocks in the second half of that 22-20 win and were substituted.

“The lads who cried off with illness last week will be back training this week and will be in contention,” Munster spokesman Pat Geraghty said yesterday.
